Description: Awesome vintage WW2 deck jacket in a rare bigger size, in great condition. Purchased from a reputable source but was just too big for me. See measurements. No returns accepted. DESCRIPTIONThe most iconic of the USN jackets in a good size! The aircraft carrier deck crew wore N-1 deck jackets during World War II and the Korean War. The thick cotton shell and alpaca or wool lining gave the deck crew the needed warmth and protection from the elements during extreme cold weather conditions. US Navy produced the initial series in Navy blue to symbolize the Navy before changing to Khaki.Details include:- USN chest stencil.- Alpaca lining.- Wool knitted cuffs.- Underarms ventilation eyelets.- Golden Talon zipper.- Hanging loop.- Waist string.- Made in USA.YEAR WW2 Era.FABRIC Jungle cloth and alpaca lining.CONDITION Clean, no funky smell, ready to be worn. Lower front button is missing. Alpaca in great condition and still super soft. Contract label present but not readable. Talon zipper still has the little fabric loop.
