Description: Up for auction is a Christmas Bulletin dated 1944 by the Woodmen Circle. This booklet was in a scrapbook but was not pasted in place so it is not damaged. A handwritten message on the front indicates that the booklet was written at the request of Mrs. Talley. Dora Alexander Talley was a founding member and driving force for the Woodmen's Circle Home. The home was built in Waxahachie Texas in 1928. It served Aged Members and Orphaned Children. There are many photos of children who grew up in the home as well as other heart warming photos. It is a lovely piece of history. Check out my other interesting and eclectic items. If you have any questions, please email me. Thanks for looking and good luck. I can mail your item via Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage. If your item qualifies, it can be mailed via Media Mail. Your item will be well packed and padded, fully insured and trackable. Payment is appreciated within 4 days of the auction close. I usually ship within 1 business day of cleared payment. Often, I ship on the same day payment is made. Please do not pay until I send you an invoice. Thanks.
