Description: vintage “WITT” (#8) MID CENTURY METAL TRASH CAN for OFFICE/SCHOOL wastebasket. Up for auction is a vintage “WITT” (#8) mid century metal trashcan. These were used in a lot of offices and schools. The trashcan is about 15 inches tall by 12-1/2 inches long by 12-1/2 inches wide. It is extremely well-made and heavy duty. The trashcan needs a good cleaning. It shows a some minor wear and scratches here and there. You should be able to see the where in scratches from the pictures. it also is sitting a little crooked and wobbles very slightly. There does not seem to be anything wrong with it that could not be fixed, but I am not sure how to straighten it. It is very slight. Overall, it appears to be in good solid condition.
