VINTAGE WEST GERMAN SMITHS QUARTZ CLOCK c1970

Description: This is a marvellous and rare to find Vintage c1970, Smiths Battery Operated Quartz Clock, made in West Germany. It is in working order and currently has a C / LR14 sized battery fitted but will be removed for shipping for safety reasons, so will require a battery fitting when received. The pendulum to the front was swinging as it should but has now stopped, however the clock time keeping still functions ok. The case in good condition but does exhibit some age-related wear, which includes some surface marks and a little discolouration, which actually gives it a lovely patina. There is a bell that gives a single chime on the hour which is in working order. The case measures approximately 12cm wide, 7cm deep at the base and 21cm high with the handle upright.
