Description: Vintage Viners Dessert Set, Pastry Forks & Pie Server in Display Box. Sheffield, England. This is a set of 6 elegantly designed Pastry forks and 1 Pie Server. The Forks and Pie Server have "E.P.N.S at Sheffield England" stamped on the back. E.P.N.S is Electroplated Nickel Silver, or Silver plate. They are displayed beautifully in a lined presentation box. The inside of this box has a purple label in the upper left corner that is printed with gold writing which states, "By Appointment to the Late King George Cutlers & Silversmiths LTD. Viners, Sheffield England". The forks are held individually inside the bottom of the box, with the Pie Server held to the top of the box with a vintage slide closure. The outside of the box is black with with 2 fine gold lines on either side. The Vintage Clasp closure is in the front. The cutlery has tarnish marks. The box shows minor signs of wear.
