Description: Vintage WW2 U.S. M1 helmet liner complete w/nape strap, sweat band and leather chin strap. All original, period and in excellent condition. There is very light wear and the leather of the sweat band is still pliable w/no cracking. The chinstrap is pliable with slight cracking in a small area towards the buckle. Webbing is like it was made yesterday with slight staining here and there.The liner has the 89th Infantry insignia displayed on it's right side and the 354th Infantry Regiment on the left side.The liner is a high pressure type embossed with the International Molded Plastics (IMP) Logo.Overall, a very unique item that will make a great addition to any collection.
