Description: A colorful trio of Jamaican dolls colorfully dressed, affixed to a wooden stand. The dolls with stand are 3 1/2" high. The dolls have composition bodies with painted features and movable arms. The men have cigarettes in their mouths; the woman has a wide skirt in white and yellow lace with silver accents, a red ruffle on the bottom, a red bow in front, gold hoop earrings, a necklace and a bracelet. The men are wearing green felt hats with ribbon accents, and the woman has a reddish orange silky head scarf with fruit-like decorations on top. The stand is trimmed with lace. The doll is from my mother's collection. Most of her dolls were collected in the 1970's to 1990's. She kept detailed noted on all of her dolls, but she didn't indicate what country these are from. I have identified them as Jamaican from my research on the internet of similar dolls.
