Description: Thank you for looking. The item up for "Buy It Now" is a 1968 Olympic Tie Clasp, made by the Hook-Fast Co, out of Providence RI. The 1968 Olympics in Mexico City was one Olympic fit to be remembered: George Foreman's Heavyweight (over 81 KG) win in boxing, John Carlos and Tommie Smith, Bill Toomey in the decathlon and Jim McKay's great call of that race's final event, the 1500 meter run, plus so many more. Item is in very good shape for being 55 years old. Please email me thru Ebay if you have any questions. Thanks again for looking. Like new, looks like it has never been worn. Purchased at an estate sale of man who was a ref at the '68 Olympics, for wrestling. He was also a scorekeeper/timekeeper at the same Olympics. He lived in Stillwater, OK, where the great wrestling college OSU is located. The estate sale included literally hundreds of Olympic pins, clasps, etc for sale.
