Description: This is a full Resto-Mod Team Losi Jrx Pro Off-Road Buggy. I couldn't find a nice chassis to do a vintage build, so I had a custom chassis made from an older graphite chassis that I considered to be worn. I already sold that chassis, but I kept this as a unique build that I did. And I'm going to try to remember everything that is on the buggy. The chassis and shock towers were custom made from 3K Carbon Fiber. The chassis was hand laid to get the 30° kick in the front, and laid on top of the original chassis to match the angle. It's near perfect. The chassis was cut to the original chassis shape using the Team Losi chassis as a pattern and the holes were all measured and machined to match. I was never going to run the chassis, but the recommendation from the shop that made this was to glue the edges and the screw holes (I never did that because I never intended this for more than a shelf queen). The shocks are XXX generation Truck shocks, with the lighter gray-ish color to them. I used that to more closely replicate the original silver shocks, but allowed me to use the newer shock cartridges and I also used the .9" (long) Titanium Nitride shock shafts in the front and 1.2" (Extra Long) Titanium Nitride Shock Shafts in the rear. That just helped to keep any corrosion from aging. The motor is an original Team Losi Revolution Motor (Super Stock, I think), that I bought on eBay. All of the plastic parts and hinge pins are period correct original production Team Losi parts. Even the Motor Plate and Front Bulkhead have the Jrx2 logo on them instead of the later projection versions that just say Team Losi. I used as many NEW parts as I could, but the battery cup was used, and the foam shows where a better was mounted. The front tires were purchased new in a Team Losi parts bag, but the rears where slightly used. Which was fine, as I wanted to cut them down to replicate the way we used to race them. So they look new, and race ready. And finally, you'll notice the original Tecnacraft Titanium Tie Rods, that are also period correct for this vehicle. I'm including the original Andy's Painted Jrx Pro Body that is exactly the way I received it when purchasing it from Andy's RC Paints. Oh, and all 4 shocks also have an "A" shock limiter inside to replicate the larger shock cartridge that was used on the original Jrx Pro buggies. I've really enjoyed this, but I'm out of room and things need to go to new homes. Please ask me any questions. I'll do my best to answer from what I can remember. This was a COMPLETELY NEW BUILD. So everything moves freely. The differential is smooth with new differential balls and plates. I'm sorry to say, I'm selling this for less than I have in it already. So, please don't ask to make deals. I will ONLY sell this through eBay. And if it doesn't sell, I'm happy to hang on to it until I can find it the right home.
