Description: A small vintage Sterling silver ring size US 5 featuring a larger turtle [tortoise, if you are a marine biologist or value precision] in the center with a baby turtle on each side. Though largest turtle measures 10 mm from nose to tail, the creator of this piece had the skill to incorporate eyes, mouth and neck wrinkle on its tiny 2 mm head. Ring was purchased new in Arizona in 2003 and is in good shape owing to the sturdiness of the band. Ring weighs approx. 2.46 grams, band is 2.5 mm wide at narrowest and 4 mm wide at split shank, 1-1.5 mm thick. It is indistinctly marked 925 inside band.
