Description: This micrometer is made by Starrett for sheet metal applications. Its their 222 series for 0 to 1/2 inch measuring range. Graduations: .001 inch, 0.001 in Resolution, Flat Anvil, Flat Spindle type, Ratchet Thimble, Forged Steel, Satin Chrome, 1 11/16"ths inch Long X 7/32"nds Wide X 2 3/4" Tall. This is a solid one piece unit made of solid forged steel ribbed for strength and stability. It's throat depth is 2". It has a combination ratchet and speeder for uniform pressure and quicker adjustment. It has Micro-lapped measuring faces. It has a hardened one piece Spindle for accurate measurement. The finish is satin chrome for reduced glare and rust prevention. Its advanced sleeve design has staggered lines with clear figures for precise and reliable reads. Now for the boilerplate.
