Description: This is a very RARE "barn find" set of SLINGERLAND RADIO KING toms/timbales in aged/yellowed white marine pearl finish. Comes with (2) original rims, original tension rods with rim clamps (intact), and two original flesh hoops. One is salvageable with a partial calf skin head and the Radio King logo on it. The other flesh hoop is broken. Perhaps someone could repair it? Rim sizes are 11" and 8". Rims are heavy and appear to be round and fully functional. All lug casings are in good shape with typical pitting seen on these older drums. Tension rods thread easily into all threaded lug inserts. Wrap finish has some chipping and some loose areas. Nothing has been done to preserve or repair these drums and they are being sold in "As is" condition. Set appears to be complete. Please see pictures as they are part of the description.
