The little machine is as cute as cute can be! It is solidly made of metal, not like the cheap plastic machines manufactured today! No rust. Her hand crank moves the needle shaft as it should! This listing ensemble includes a small child's size thimble and an adjustable seam guage. There's a needle in the needle shaft. Plastic storage / carrying case shows some fade. Made in the United Kingdom. I purchased this machine, along numerous more, at an upscale estate in Carmel, California. Its previous owner collected dozens of sewing machines, adult and children's.
