Description: This Simplex Special Demonstrated Model C Typewriter is in the original box. It is being sold as is. I have never tried to operate it and there is a spring approximately 3/4" loose in the box. No idea if it belongs to the unit, it may just have found a home there with no connection to the typewriter. I don't see any place where it should go. The box once belonged to Patsy and she wrote her name in pencil on the lid. The box lid shows pencil scribbles and shelf wear. Please see photos as they are a part of the description.
