Description: Vintage Late 50's to Early 60's SILVERTONE ARTIST "Mother Of Toilet Seat" 6 String LAP STEEL GUITAR. Serial # X76210. Bridge Pick-Up is a String Through Pick-Up which appears to have been made by VALCO (same is used in RY COODERS Famous "Coodercaster" Guitar). Pick-Up is Strong and Sounds As It Should. Pick-Up Cover has No Chips or Cracks. Original KLUSON DELUXE Tuning Pegs are 100% Functional (don't slip) but do have some surface rust (see pics for actual condition). Mother Of Toilet Seat Covering has worn through to the wood in a couple of spots on the end corners of the body (see pics # 20, 21, 22, 23 & 24 for specific reference). The Silvertone "Artist" Badge has a couple of rust spot blemishes (see pic # 7). The 2 Knobs DO NOT Appear to be Original (see pics) but mostly period correct. NO CASE.
