This Iconic Giant Ruffle Pin is well known by vintage jewelry lovers as Schreiner most sought after design. The Pin is gun metal plated. The Black Jet signature keystones are set around hight domed central oval cabochon, surrounded by 18 Jet chaton rhinestones. The central high dome cabochon might be glass or lucite, I am not sure. This Pin is signed Schreiner New York on the back cartouche.The reference to this design can be seen on page 80, 81 of “Schreiner. Masters of Twentieth-Century Costume Jewelry” book by Carole Tanenbaum and Eve Townsend and Schreinery.com item F68YG6 . Please see picture provided. Dimentions: Pin size is 3” x 2 3/4”. Height is about 1”. All stones are present and looking super luxurious with absolutely no visible damage. The gun metal plating is very well preserved.
