As I am the seller it is my explicit opinion that I believe that this lantern was NEVER used beyond the initial installation of the factory's supplied mantles due to the absence of any soot inside the lanterns top (lid/cover) and on other areas where soot will form on this type of lantern. This vintage Sears/Coleman lantern is a must-have for camping and exploring enthusiasts. This vintage lantern is in very good++ condition with only minor paint loss around the top of the fuel tank and some VERY minor loss on the very top of the lantern (see photos #4,5,6,7 & 8) It supports a striking avocado green color that adds a touch of style to any outdoor adventure. This 72325 Two Mantle model offers reliable lighting with its SPECIAL LANTERN FUEL gasoline-powered mechanism. This lantern was made by Coleman for SEARS ROEBUCK CO., a well-known and trusted brand in the market, ensuring quality and durability. In nice tested condition. Everything appears to work as it now has a BRAND NEW 72227 GENERATOR installed. New mantles were used to test it and due to their fragile nature have broken off!!!
