Eyes, nose and face are so realistic. He has a silver rectangular sticker with his name "Chet" and his # 162. There is also a second Robert Simmons gold sticker on his chest. He is perfect, with no chips, cracks, breaks or crazing. Along with his sticker, one foot is marked with a spot of paint, which was a Simmons identity characteristic mark, and there are penciled numbers on other feet, possibly original price, names Mom and Dad and what looks to be a # 4 next to the paint spot on one foot.. The silver sticker has small amount of one corner missing on one end.He is a truly rare collectible in perfect condition, especially for surviving 64 to 84 years. He has been well cared for! Robert Simmons Pottery was manufactured from the 1940's to the early 1960's in California. His pottery was very popular and had realistic features with unique eyes and coloring on his figurines.
