The glasses appear to be covered with old movie film and each window is a picture on the opposite side of the glass which is the named movie star of old. I guess you would call these glasses low ball or whiskey glasses. The stars shown are Buster Keaton, Lionel Barrymore, John Barrymore, Charlie Chaplin, Ramon Novarro, Harold Lloyd, Laurel & Hardy, and Rudolph Valentino.
