Description: RE-LISTED DUE TO BUYER'S INABILITY TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE. Completely re-padded and cleaned with no alterations whatsoever. This is a professional alto saxophone the alto version of the tenor played by Wayne Shorter during his playing years with Art Blakley and Miles Davis. I've had the occasions to see a few tenors of these models over the years but never before had I seen an alto prior to this one which I purchased from an antique collector. I purchased it because of it's splendid engraving and clean and solid metal. I had the horn completely re-padded but specifically requested that no deep cleaning or buffing of any type take place that might alter the nature of this instrument. It has a wonderful sound and projects more like a Selmer Mark VI than a Bundy. I have a clip of it being played after it was returned to me by my tech. I have included the sample video below..
