Description: Vintage Rare #746 Alamo Pottery Green Horn Of Plenty Cornucopia. Very good condition with some shelf scuffing on bottom. Alamo Pottery existed from around 1944 to the early 1950's. In the earlier years they manufactured pots, vases and Jardinieres. They also went into manufacturing plumbing fixtures. The last mention of pottery was around 1952 or 1953.It was bought out the Universal Rundle Corporation. Very few of the pottery has survived. This piece is very nice and great for the collector. It measures about 7 1/2" in height. and has a nice glossy glaze.
