Description: I’m not sure of the exact age of this, NASA souvenir marked “Kennedy Space Center” with the Project Mercury Friendship 7 logo in some sort of shiny material embedded in a plastic disk at the top of a letter opener. That was the mission where John Glenn became the first American to orbit the earth. It comes with it’s cover made of some sort of leather-like material (pretty sure it is some sort of heavy cloth). The letter opener has some light wear, a little bit of wear to “Center” in the Kennedy Space Center letter graphics, logo is shiny, some light scratching to the plastic disc but only seen looking very closely, and the disk holder has some tiny rust spots. The cover has a little wear and staining/marks. The letter opener itself is a shade over 7 inches tall. Please see pics for plusses and minuses of condition.
