Description: Vintage 1950's Battery Operated Remote Control POLICE CAR with Siren and Flashing Light No. J1525 R that was manufactured by Line MAR Toys - Japan as shown in our photos. . The cardboard box shows some slight shelf wear from being in storage for over 60 years. This remote controlled toy has seen very little play as the battery box is as clean as when new. The green plastic covering over the wires has shrunk a little around the control box. The litho and paint is in good condition for its age. It appears to require a battery underneath the body of the police car for the siren and flashing light but has not been tested. Looks like the remote control requires two C cell type batteries and again has not been tested. Finding one of these Line MAR Police Cars with its original factory box was a wonderful discovery and should make a terrific vintage toy for someone's collection.
