Vintage Plumb Victory Fireman's Axe w/ Wood Handle

Description: This auction is for a Vintage Plumb Victory Fireman's Axe w/ Wood Handle. Item is AS IS/AS PICTURED! I am not an expert on item! It is in fair used condition. Has dirt, spotty rust, edge wear, chipping, color loss, and scratches. Head is 12" long with 3 3/4" pointed end and 5" cutting edge. Cutting edge has chipping to it. Pointed end is intact. Wood handle is very loose in head, handle slides but does not come out of head. Handle has dirt, paint residue, scrapes, scuffs, staining, cracking along wood grain, small chipping to end, and scratches. Hole where handle would go measures approx. 2 3/8" x 7/8" at widest point. Overall it is approx. 34" long. Total weight is approx. 7 1/2 lbs. ** NOTE: If requested, I will ship just the head, and NO HANDLE - handle cut off as much as possible (Shipping would be Priority Flat Rate Medium Box, Head ONLY)!! Overpayment of shipping fees would be refunded at time of shipping.** I do not know how well this would clean up. Item was acquired from a local estate. It is AS FOUND/AS IS!! Has not been cleaned!
