As such, there are spots where the finish is intentionally not applied and places where it is intentionally roughened. See pics.They are gorgeous- would look great inside on a mantle piece OR they are weatherproof, so they would be great as garden accents. However, I would not leave them outside in winter if you are in a cold climate.I've had them on a tall bookshelf for about 20 years.
