If you're a collector or a musician looking for a unique piece of equipment, this vintage pair of General Radio Co. pre-amplifiers is a must-have. I don’t know how these work and I’m not sure how the loose microphone piece attaches to the pre-amplifier. I think there’s a set screw with a very small hexagonal head that needs to be screwed out and up against the mic head. It doesn’t seem like it’s connected properly though when you look at the two connectors. I’m not sure if something is missing or if it’s going to function as it is. I believe the GR insignia on the case represents general radio. There’s a bit of corrosion on the metal primarily only on one of the units. It’s possible though that that’s just adhesive from a label but not sure.
