Description: Note: Cover was aquired separately from helmet but I used the helmet to display the cover and will include it! Cover is a Contract No. ?, as it's too hard to read. But it is an earlier cover probably 60s. Well worn and faded. Lots of rips and tears but still displays nicely. On the green side it has names or a names on the front. Looks like Linda? And maybe a man's name? But I can't tell as it's too faded. The tan reverse side has a saying "This helmet has been to hell" and something else but it's unreadable. Looks like the first word is "fly" but I can't tell for sure. Good display helmet. Cover on the outside has marks where the helmet band disintegrated on it and left a white mark. Cool piece in salty condition. Liner is salty and as is helmet. Helmet is missing one bale and chin straps. Please ask any questions. Thank you
