Description: Any stand shown in photographs is not included in purchase - it is being used for display/photography purposes only. An awesome Vintage Orient & Flume 1979 3-Dimensional Iridescent Snake With Silvery Rocks. The snake is iridescent gold with a blue head curled around a dark purple base with external torch work. It's a great piece reflecting the change taking place in the later part of the 70's at the California studios where torch-work took hold...allowing direct application of complex 3-D imagery. Chris Buzzini says that the first time he saw a torch used was on a Lundberg 1974 Tropical Fish prototype by M. Cantor. I'm now the lucky owner of that very Lundberg prototype paperweight from Chris's private collection. Weighs 1.4 lbs and is approximately 3" W x 2.8" H. Signed to the base: "Orient & Flume S35 AT 1979". In fantastic condition...no issues to report. Refer to photos. To see more great artistry in Glass, click on the following link: Glassylassy
