Description: Vintage Oggetti Lacquered Bamboo Wood Decorative Bowl. Big beautiful bowl made by Oggetti in Vietnam entirely made of banner. It’s lacquered a reddish color but the grain of the bamboo still shows through. It’s a huge but shallow bowl measuring approximately 17.25” diameter and 4.5” tall. For being such a big bowl it’s quite delicate as in being pretty thin. The is a hoop on the underneath serving as a base made out of the same bamboo. There is some wear to this bowl but being that is bamboo it’s held up quite well for its age. Very little of the shellac has chipped off around the middle of the bowl and around the base. Some of the wood had also chipped on the base and around edge of the bowl but very little as well. Please look at the last 2 pictures to see how minor these issues are.
