Description: "Broadway, New York" by Thomas Horner (Hornor), Vintage NYC Print #1This reproduction of the original 1836 aquatint by British born artist Thomas Horner (Hornor), (1785-1850) titled "Broadway, New York" depicts a 19th century view from the Hygenian Depot corner of Canal St. to beyond Nibles Garden. This reproduction, ca. 1920s, is printed on heavy card-stock. The print's colors are bright, clean, unblemished (no tears or staining) and is still in the original 1920s wood frame though the double acid-free mat was added recently. Please note condition issues with the frame due to age. Please see photos. "Fulton Street & Market" by Wm. James Bennett, Vintage NYC Print #2Wm. James Bennett (1787-1844) was an American artist & engraver. Bennett's original engraving of "Fulton Street & Market" was done about 1834 and is one of 3 engravings done by the artist. This reprint is from the 1920's, done on heavy cardstock. The subdued colors of this print are complemented by new double acid-free mats and placed back into the original frame. Please note condition issues with the frame due to age though the print itself is in good condition with no stains or tears. Please see photos. Both prints were purchased together at an estate sale in NYC. The prints previously hung in the former owner's NYC office for many years. The glass is clean and in good condition. New acid-free paper backing was added & wall hanging materials are included with both prints. Both framed prints each measure 22.5" long x 17.5" tall x 1.5" deep. Picture hanging supplies are included. The prints will be carefully packaged for shipping and are sold together as a unit. Thank you. Buyer pays shipping. Continental United States only please.
