Description: I believe this to be an early southeast American Indian long leaf pine needle basket. It is a wall basket accented with pine cones. This basket may be Coushatta . The needles are hand sewn to a cardboard interior and base. It is in very good condition for its age and fragile nature. I took photos in natural and flash lighting to show its detail.
