Description: Pictures show condition and level of completeness. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... How to determine the wingspan (or whatever part) of a model kit: We will do a 1/72 scale B-36 Peacemaker as an example. The 1/1 wingspan of the B-36 is 220 feet. So, multiply 220 x 12 to get 2640 inches. Divide 2640 by the scale of the model. In this instance, it's 1/72 scale. So, divide 2640 by 72 to get 36.6, which means the wingspan is 36.6 inches long. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... A word about these model kits: A couple of years ago I bought out a hobby shop's inventory of plastic model kits. From what I understand, these kits were purchased from the estate of someone prominent in the hobby, many years ago. I think that this person maintained this library of kits and would duplicate parts for folks, but this is only an assumption. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Here is the deal: If only the box is pictured in the listing, the model is factory sealed and sold as new. If the kit has been opened, and there are factory sealed parts bags, these bags will be shown. With little exception, all of these models are aircraft. I love aircraft and am very well versed in aircraft components, and I can easily determine if a major component is missing or if trees have been manipulated. However, I am not perfect. As usual, I am laying all of the parts and trees out so you may come to the conclusion of the completeness of these kit. Many of these kits will be opened and a part may be loose or missing, so please thoroughly review the pictures and do not assume anything. Some kits will be started or modified by the addition or removal of plastic. Many of these kits will come with third-party upgrades such as resin, cast metal or brass parts. Some of these kits may have handwritten notes or highlighted areas in the instruction manuals. I will be shipping these models wrapped in cardboard (or placed in a box) with bubble wrap or peanuts on the inside to protect the parts. However, all expensive or internationally shipped models will be placed in a box. With that said; a note to international buyers: Your total price may be affected by me placing your kit in a box rather than wrapping it in cardboard. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... I have many more kits to list. If you are looking for a specific aircraft model kit, I encourage you to inquire as to it's availability. I do combine shipping. Otherwise, professionally packed for worry-free shipping. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get with me.
