VINTAGE MME. ALEXANDER ELISE DOLL IN TAGGED EVENING ATTIRE

Description: This is vintage Madame Alexander Elise from circa 1958 dressed in a tagged blue taffeta dress with plunging neckline and rhinestone adornment and the Junior League white gabardine(?) swing coat minus the ribbon tie. Her underslip and seamed stockings are both Alexander. White nylon lace-trimmed panties are not. Her gold spike heels are replicated, but match the style of her original high heels. Elastic is great. Accessories include a vintage two-strand pearl necklace, original Elise rhinestone ear drops and a tiny gold mesh evening bag just big enough to hold her compact and lipstick. The bag is empty, however. Elise is 15.5 inches in height and is made of hard plastic with vinyl arms. She has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. She is clean, and I don't see any cracks/splits in her hard plastic. Vinyl arms look fine and will hold poses, but the arm band could be tighter. Elise went to the spa somewhere around 2012 and got refreshed makeup and hairdo. She has a pretty brunette wig. Some hairs in her bangs on her right side are sticking up and need to be trained back down. Not sure how that occurred. Her blue open-close eyes work well, but the whites have darkened some. The camera picked up a slight laziness in her left eye that I had never noticed. This doll has been displayed behind glass in a low-light, air-conditioned room and is from a smoke-free home. She has truly been enjoyed, but I am starting to dismantle my Elise collection in view of moving to a smaller home before long. I hope I haven't missed covering something that might be important to you. Remember, Elise is a vintage doll 65 years old so is not perfect, but she does display beautifully. A stand is not included.
