Description: You are bidding on a Vintage military flight helmet made by Cal-Mil in fair condition. This is a wonderful piece of aviation history. This is an old rocket refueler's safety helmet model JAD10. cal-mil safety products- solana beach, California. The size is small 10b. It has flip visor, a back ventilation port and two crop duster canisters installed. It has the manufactures label on back and flight sound sticker on top. The inside liner is still present but is in very poor condition. most of the foam has decayed and both ear foam sections are missing. Maybe it could be restored or relined if desired. The shield and chin strap are in great shape. The snaps and straps function nicely. The rubber helmet trim is still very soft and in nice shape. The outside shell has two faint burn marks around the ear positions. the inside liner has a distinct petroleum odor. The smell is not over whelming but noticeable. I am selling this for parts or repair in un-restored condition. It would be nice on display in your aviation collection or it would make a nice stage costume or prop piece. The hose attachment measures approx 1 1/2". Please look at all the photos before bidding and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. These are in used condition and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage.
