Description: Vintage Mid-Century Steel Industrial Tanker Desk Manufacturer: General Fireproofing Manufactured by the now defunct General Fireproofing Company in Youngstown Ohio. This is a "Generalaire" style desk. Likely manufactured sometime during the late 1960s. Retired from the State of Michigan Dept of Social Services in Wayne County (Detroit) Michigan. An added bonus: included is some paperwork from the mid and late 1970s found inside the bottom. There are some scuffs, scrapes, and signs of previous usage. The desk is in overall good condition. The top is in absolutely excellent shape! This desk is available for local pickup. Or you can send a shipping company to collect it. We are located at a commercial warehouse building, with a forklift and a loading dock. Freight shipping is available, but at a price to be determined AFTER commitment of purchase.
