The patina on the base is smooth and adds a beautiful warmth. The lamp is approx 22 inches tall and 15 wide. The base is 12 inches. Good used condition. One arm is loose, does not affect ascetics or working condition. You can probably tighten the arm by removing the liner under the base. I did not want to disturb it.
