Description: This custom made window pane came from a set of complete casement windows and was salvaged. It came from a custom-built 50’s Mid-Century home. The frost was applied as a film at a later time, on one side. It’s a thick dense vinyl film, not papery. It’s probably one of the early window films that was produced by 3M, who came out with window film as we know it today, back in 1966. Other side is smooth. It’s a 60’s ice crackle / hoar frost pattern. There’s a grayish splotch toward the middle, but it only shows in certain lights. The wood has seen different paint and varnish in its time and it shows. It measures 16.5” x 30.5”. The glass itself is 13.5” x 27”. 1.5” thick. Nice, well made window. It also has metal weather stripping on both long edges. Please inspect all the pictures carefully and thank you for looking.
