Description: MCM Ceramic Black Cat Letter & Pen Holder-Missing Coil Spring. This black ceramic cat has a pen holder where the tail would be. At one time, it would have a sponge (red area between the paws) to moisten letters and stamps. It is marked "Japan." Approx. size: 6-1/2" long x 3" (at widest). 3-1/2" tall. Note: It is missing the spring that holds letters. There is some paint wear. It is vintage, so it is not perfect. It is being sold as found.
