Vintage 1960's enamel on copper plate or ashtray made by Bovano of Cheshire, Connecticut. 6 1/2" square with rounded corners, metallic copper enamel ground with abstract gathering of clear green and brown glass in the center. There is a faint 1/2" hairline on the gathered glass design and a small ding on the background. Bovano ashtrays and low dishes like this one were chic coffee table accessories in the 1960's.
