Description: For sale is a McIntosh C22 vacuum preamplifier that comes with its original box. Cosmetically, this preamp is in very good condition relative to its age. One of the nicer ones I’ve seen. That said, it does have the normal imperfections that you’d expect for an item 60+ years old. There are scratches, nicks, and some imperfections. The back of the faceplate has some whitening that you commonly find with faceplates like this one. There is some light bubbling. The pictures do a better job of illustrating their condition than words. Please refer to them for more details. In terms of the functionality, this item checked out by an experienced technician and works as it should. It was cleaned and made sure it works properly. Only immediately necessary parts were replaced if needed, otherwise, as many original parts were kept as possible.
