Description: Up for grabs is a Vintage Deep Fryer produced by Lodge from the 1930s/40s. This Deep Fryer includes a wire basket that will clip on the top rim of the pot to drip-dry your fried goodies. This is in EXCELLENT condition. No pitting, cracks, chips, or rust. Like most of these out of the foundry, the pot does not sit perfectly flat and will spin on a flat surface. Perfect for use over a gas stove. As with any cast iron, the cooking surface will continue to darken and season over time and with use. This piece will outlive all of us and may become a cherished family heirloom. Stripped to bare metal. Restored using a food-grade lye bath and electrolysis. Seasoned 3 rounds at high heat with a custom blend of high smoke point oils.
