Description: Vintage 1940s to 1950s era California Sportswear Company Los Angeles, Goatskin leather jacket. Half belted, four pocket, with take up size adjuster tabs on the waist. This jacket is amazing. In the style of a French cycling jacket. It’s marked on a little paper tag in the pocket that it is a size 44, but it is a little tight for a 44. The leather smells like a jacket from the era, I love that old leather jacket smell. Some wear, the liner has been stitched up in a couple places. The two chest pocket buttons are newer, so that indicates that they have been replaced. Measurements: Chest, from seem to seem laid flat under armpits: 22 inches Waist from seam to seam laid flat: 21 inches. Length, from base of collar to bottom down the back: 26 inches. Length, from center of shoulder seam down the front shoulder to bottom hem: 27 inches. Shoulder to shoulder across the back: 19 inches. Arms: 26 inches.
