Vintage late 1950's-1960's teal, metallic brocade & velveteen UNIQUE tunic top M

Description: Feel special, in this home-made, one-of-a-kind, special occasion tunic top circa late 1950's... This lovely little, wide-cut or tube blouse is totally unique. Most likely home-made, it would've also probably been worn over a pair of 'cigarette' or other slim cut pants (the longer length of the top made wearing tight pants somewhat more demure). The main body of this tunic style top is light teal blue silk or rayon brocade that has been woven through with metallic gold threads, as well as a contrast salmon orange. The pattern is semi-floral, or at least naturalistic in style. The stand-away collar and hem of top are made of a cotton velveteen, in black. Then, at either side seam, as well as back neck, we find a prominent button, self-covered with the brocade fabric -so elegant and surprising! The center back neck features a painted blue metal zipper and hidden snap closure (beneath the button). Overall condition is excellent, with one small orange stain at front right, near hem (hardly noticeable), plus a tiny repair at right arm hole. No other flaws to note -please review photographs for full details.
