Description: A stunning Amish Tree of Life quilt with 12 multicolored trees on a white cotton ground, stitched entirely by hand. Several of the trees are made with brightly colored fabric while four of them (3 in the second row from bottom and one in the top right) have a light pastel palette (see photos). It is generously-sized - the photos that were taken on a queen bed. We have photographed each square with the 12 trees separately for your careful examination - starting with the 5th photo through the 16th, they proceed from top left to the bottom right. The condition is excellent for a vintage quilt. We find some faint color transfer in the solid red tree, a light circular dark mark on the white ground and two tiny tears in the subtle white with narrow black stripe trees. There is some fading of the brighter colors, to be expected with a piece of this age that has been laundered. There is minimal fraying along the edges (see photos). Photo 7 shows a lightly faded square at the top right of the quilt. 74" wide x 94" long
