Description: This vintage Kewpie doll from the mid-20th century (or later) is a beautiful addition to any collection. With its porcelain material and hand-painted features, it is a true gem. Measuring approximately 7” inches in length, this Kewpie features tiny angel wings in the back and has jointed arms. There are no chips or obvious defects. However, the clearcoat porcelain finish has signs of crazing (tiny surface cracks in the glaze) which typically don’t affect wear or stability but add to an antique effect. I don’t really actual age because this came from the state of a collector. it could be older than mid century or newer. The porcelain and glaze finish add credibility to the fact it’s probably older.
