Description: Vintage Joseph Anton Haff Fecit a Augsburg 1873 Violin 4/4 Size Rare - READ This item is in used condition. There are signs of wear and discoloration throughout due to use and aging. This item was sent to a local luthier who addressed any issues with the item. This item was repaired to be in playable condition. He did not do any touch ups to the finish of the wood. I believe most of the hardware on the instrument is not original. The item will need to be tuned before use. The item comes with case but the lid of the case is broken off. This case is mainly for protection for shipping. The label inside the instrument reads, "Joseph Anton Haff fecit a Augsburg 1873." I believe the size of this item is 4/4 as the length of the back measures approximately 14" I am unsure if this is a violin or a fiddle. This item does not come with a bow.
