Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this vintage impressionist oil gouache painting by the listed Ohio and Florida artist William Frahme 1896-1985. He was noted for his landscapes and his impressionist style. He painted in Ohio and moved to Naples Florida where he continued to paint until his passing in 1985. It is reported that he was a long time friend and painting companion of Emile Gruppe. The impressionist painting depicts a colorful landscape that would work well with an Arts and Crafts, Modernist, or most any other decor. It is signed twice in the lower right and dated 1942. With the frame it measures about 23 7/8 inches high and about 29 7/8 inches wide. It is in very good ready to hang condition. See photos as they are part of the description.
