Description: As we know, Hamilton bought up the Illinois Watch Company during the depression. Hamilton continued marketing Illinois pocket watches, including the popular Bunn Special with improvements, for a number of years. We do not see many Illinois wrist watches, but Hamilton did have some marketed with Swiss movements. Up for sale we have a hard to find Illinois Wrist Watch in a stylish, round ALL stainless steel case. It has a Swiss ETA 1080 17 Jewel mechanical movement, marked Illinois. Dimensions are: 32.5mm wide (not counting crown). All original and in very good vintage cosmetic condition with typical case scratches, crystal has some spotting on the inside. Comes with new black leather strap. Watch is running and keeping time.
