Description: This Mid 1960s vintage Ideal soft vinyl fold-out case dollhouse is loaded with hand crafted Ideal "Petite Princess" Dollhouse furniture for every room. The music room features the Royal Grand Piano that has decorated panels with an opening top, metronome and music sheet, and is accompanied by a red plush velvet-type material top bench. Also included in the music room is the blue statin material boudoir longue with a roll pillow, pedestal table and lamp. The faux marble top dining room table comes with 4 chairs featuring red plush velvet-type upholstery, of which 2 are host style chairs, the Treasure Trove china cabinet with opening doors and drawers, buffet (doors don't open), 3 branch candelabra, and rolling tea cart with 4 serving pieces. For the living room the salon curved sofa with brocade upholstery comes with a green faux marble occasional table, a salon drum chair in gold lame material, Lyre table and lamp. The bedroom features the Royal dressing table with Baroque framed mirror and 3 perfume bottles with a slipper chair matching the Royal bed in pink satin material with a fancy trim. The ornate headboard is missing one of the small knobs on one side. The clear top bedside table comes with a delicate bird lamp that has a fabric shade. There's a combination of vintage and new decor items throughout the dollhouse with one item of note being a Barbie Doll type miniature metal case. The vintage patio furniture includes 4 colorful hard plastic pieces with umbrella made by Marx. Once received the buyer might want to glue the metal pole to the patio table and umbrella to keep it secure. This vintage lot of Ideal and Marx dollhouse furniture is gently used in played-with condition from the mid-century and is hand crafted with detail. The original Ideal and Marx boxes are included as pictured along with the plastic angel statue decor item. The technical scale of the furniture is 3/4". To put it in perspective the blue lounge is about 4 1/2" long and 1 3/4" wide. Not included here, but the Ideal fantasy family" dolls for the Ideal dollhouses came with a father, mother and two children. As a reference point the father measures 5 1/2" tall.The dollhouse is sturdy with some bends in the roof, sides, walls and floors, measuring about 22" long, 18" tall, and 7 1/2" deep.
