The Holley 3 barrel carb is essentially a Holley 4 barrel with the rear 2 barrels joined into one large barrel for more air flow. These carbs were the top dog in the late 60's and are very hard to find today. Most Holley 3 barrels were used on the high performance big blocks such as Cobra Jet and Boss Fords, Big Block Chevys, 440 and 426 Mopars, etc. Finding one of these 3 barrels today is quite the task. If you have one on your car at a show, get ready for a crowd and a lot of attention! The List number on this Holley 3 barrel is 3604-S. This shows that this is the 1050CFM three barrel carb which is the biggest one made, the top dog. The date code is 952. The date decodes as the 2nd week of May, 1969. Yes, this is a real deal original vintage carb! This carb is in very good condition unrestored as shown. It is complete including the unique and hard to find choke parts as shown. The coloring is still very nice as shown. All parts move freely. The internals are as clean as the externals as shown. Finding an original Holley 3 barrel is becoming a very difficult task. Finding one in this nice original condition is near impossible. This carb has been in cool dry storage for decades and should be rebuild before use. Don't miss this one!
